SST 508 From the Classroom to the Real World (Retreat)
This three-day, 15-hour retreat is designed to serve as a transition from the second semester to the third semester of MAST. Each day will consist of a five-hour workshop for students and instructors, with the first day reviewing the Inner Development Goals (IDGs) as part of a reflection on the transformational skills covered in the second-semester courses. A second day is dedicated to a preview of the third semester, and a lecture by a UN representative engaged in articulating the new SDGs. A third day takes the form of a workshop on the second part of the case study begun in the first retreat, in which the relevant principles of transformation can be put into action.
