Withdrawal from a Course

Students may change their course registration online without penalty up until the published Course Change (add/drop) deadline. Students may voluntarily withdraw from a course at any time up to the published withdrawal deadline provided it does not affect their full-time status. (Consult the University Academic Calendar for withdrawal deadlines.) A student who withdraws from a course will receive a W on his or her transcript which will not affect the grade point average. There are no refunds of tuition for withdrawals. Only in extraordinary circumstances can a student drop below active enrollment in at least four regular (3) credit courses with the permission of the Dean of Academic Affairs.

Note: Academic Travel Course Change (add/drop) dates may be different than those for regular courses.
