All Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Science degrees require a total of 120 credits consisting of Core, Major, and General Elective courses and requirements.

Majors

The Bachelor of Arts degree may be pursued in any of the following major programs:

  • Comparative Literary and Cultural Studies
  • Environmental Studies
  • Fashion Studies
  • Finance
  • French Studies
  • History
  • International Economics
  • International Economics with an Emphasis in Political Economy
  • International Management
  • International Marketing Management
  • International Relations
  • Italian Studies
  • Political Science
  • Political Science with an Emphasis in Global Political Economy
  • Psychology
  • Social Justice and Sustainability
  • Visual Communication Arts

The Bachelor of Science degree may be pursued in the following major program:

  • Environmental Science

Combined Majors

For the Bachelor of Arts, additional majors are possible by combining two of the following fields of study:

  • Art History and Visual Culture
  • Communication and Media Studies
  • Comparative Literary and Cultural Studies
  • Economics
  • Environmental Science
  • French Studies
  • History
  • Italian Studies
  • Management
  • Political Science
  • Psychology
  • Visual Communication Arts

Double Majors

A student who fulfills all of the requirements for two majors may receive a Bachelor of Arts degree with a Double Major. Students must complete all requirements for each major up to a maximum of two majors.

A Combined Major cannot be used. 

A Double Major cannot be completed with the Bachelor of Science degree. 

 

Minors

In addition to the main field of study, students may select courses from within one discipline to form a minor. A combination of more than one minor is also possible.

No more than two courses applied to a minor may overlap with the student's declared major.

An official declaration of any program is required and must be submitted to the Registrar's office after obtaining the signatures of both the student’s Academic Advisor and the Division Chair of the field of interest. The declaration form is available from the Registrar’s office.
